Bradford Maker Arraigned Following Alleged Evasion of Police in Vehicle

LAWRENCE, Mass. – March 28, 2025 – On Friday, March 28, Bradford Maker, 46, of Lowell, Mass., was arraigned on charges tied to attempting to evade the Massachusetts State Police on Interstate 93 in Andover on the night of Thursday, March 27, the Office of Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker confirms. Maker is charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, speeding at a rate exceeding the posted limit, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, a license plate violation to conceal identification, and one civil charge for a marked lanes violation. The defendant pled not guilty to all charges.

In Lawrence District Court today, the Commonwealth was represented by Assistant District Attorney Paige Timko. The defendant was represented by attorney James Edward Klotz before the Hon. Judge Raquel D. Ruano. Maker is scheduled to return to court on Monday, April 28 for a pretrial hearing.

All suspects and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
