Second arrest in fatal Methuen shooting
Kelvin Francisco-Perez, 22, of Lawrence was arrested Wednesday by Customs and Border Patrol agents and Port Authority Police while awaiting a flight at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
Man arrested in fatal Methuen shooting
Adrian Isabel, 17, of Methuen surrendered to authorities on Tuesday afternoon. He was charged with murder in connection with the killing of Carlos Bello, 31, of Methuen.
Man killed in Haverhill car crash
The operator, identified as Kevin Casado, 23, of Haverhill, was transferred to Lawrence General Hospital, where he later died.

At about 2:06 a.m., the Methuen Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the Haverhill Street area of the city.
Body found in Marblehead ID’d as Peabody man
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed the body was that of Michael Gray, 31, of Peabody. Gray’s family reported him missing on Dec. 11.
DA Tucker statement on Methuen Police report
“We will take any appropriate action, including consulting with other state and federal agencies, if appropriate,” Tucker said in a statement.
Peabody mother charged in 2-year-old’s death
Vanessa Jeising, 28, was ordered held without bail following her arraignment in Peabody District Court. A not guilty plea was entered on her behalf for two felony charges: permitting substantial injuries to a child, and reckless endangerment of a child.
Lynn man convicted of 2020 armed robbery/murder
Derell Guy, 37, of Lynn was found guilty of first-degree murder on the theories of extreme atrocity and cruelty, and of felony murder. An Essex Superior Court jury sitting in Lawrence also convicted Guy of armed robbery.
DA Tucker announces continued office leadership
Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker announced Wednesday - his first official day in office - that he’s retaining the senior trial, appellate and administrative leaders who have been serving county residents.
DA-elect Tucker to participate in ceremonial swearing-in
The incoming district attorney will take the oath of office at Salem High School, from which he graduated in 1976.
