Woman dies of injuries in pedestrian collision

LAWRENCEA woman has died of her injuries after she and another pedestrian were struck by a motor vehicle in Lawrence last week, Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker announced.

Silvana Seabra, 64, of Methuen was pronounced deceased at Boston Medical Center on Monday. She had been struck by a van about 2:43 p.m. on April 3 at the intersection of Lawrence and Erving streets.

A man who also was struck suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at Lawrence General Hospital.

The name of the van driver is being withheld pending the completion of an investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and detectives from the Lawrence Police Department.
