Two questioned in fatal Lynn stabbing

Authorities are investigating a fatal stabbing in Lynn Tuesday evening, Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker and Lynn Police Chief Chris Reddy announced.
The victim was stabbed at the Alpha Convenience Store, 1 Freeman Square, about 6 p.m., and pronounced deceased a short time later at Salem Hospital.
Two suspects are in custody and investigators believe there is no broader threat to the general public.
The incident is under investigation by the Essex County District Attorney’s Office State Police Detective Unit and detectives from the Lynn Police Department.
We do not anticipate any additional statements this evening.
